Volunteering

Fram participates in youth charity vInspired’s Schools programme, an education-focused volunteering programme designed to encourage, provide opportunities for and reward students for their volunteer work. All of our students are provided with the means to register on this programme in School. The School offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities and manages students’ involvement and the award of certificates for completing agreed volunteering hours: V10, V30, V50, and V100.

Engagement in volunteering helps students to improve their skills, provides a sense of social responsibility, confidence, access to higher education and employability. Students can log their volunteering hours from both our school programme and from any volunteering they do in the wider community. The programme supports Citizenship and provides students with attitudes and life skills which will accompany them throughout life.
