e-Safety

Keeping children and young people safe online is an ever changing challenge, the online world changes daily with new apps, website and challenges. Whilst new technologies are a great way to engage with the world, access learning and communicate with other people we know that there are also those who use the online world for their own purposes.

In School pupils are taught online safety in Computing and PSHE lessons, but these messages need reinforcing at home too. Working together as parents/ carers and school we can help children and young people understand that wherever they are using their devices the same online safety should apply.

Below are links to a number of very informative webpages that are specifically designed to help parents and carers keep up to date and informed on the risks posed to young people online.
