Sometimes young people can benefit from having someone trained and neutral to talk to on a regular basis for a period of time. This can help them consider a situation and their response to it, and to develop tools to help them to cope. To support our youngsters, we employ two Support Workers from The Benjamin Foundation who offer their well-regarded 30-minute ‘Time for You’ sessions.
Time for You is an Early Help service which offers emotional well-being support, advice and guidance to children and young people in the school setting. The intervention is on a one-to-one basis and aims to enhance the skills children and young people need to work towards clearly defined and appropriate outcomes and ultimately to stop problems escalating.
Support Workers are there to listen and support your child in a confidential yet relaxed and friendly environment. They use a range of activities including arts and crafts, board games, role-play as well as talk in order to follow the interest of the child. Ultimately they use the ‘Nurtured Heart’ approach to help children create opportunities for success.

If you feel your son or daughter would benefit from this service, please contact Mr Edwards on firstname.lastname@example.org. Following discussion, you can access a referral form on the right-hand side of the page.
