Y6 Transition

Here at Framingham Earl High School we are looking forward to meeting all of our new Year 7 students and their families.

In order to keep in touch over the next few weeks the transition team have set up a range of experiences to help you get to know our school.

On Friday 24th April you will have received your first set of forms to complete giving us some information about your child.

Today, I have prepared 5 sources of information to share with you;

1. PowerPoint presentation for parents on the Transition Process
2. Handout to accompany the PowerPoint with key details
3. Uniform information sheet
4. YouTube link for students on Our Core Values
5. Sway link for students and parents on Our Core Values

After watching the YouTube video you may wish to have a conversation about the FEHS Core Values. You might talk about how the value ‘Be Positive’ has been demonstrated by your family during the lockdown period. You may choose to talk about how ‘Enjoy and Achieve’ has been part of the home learning experience. If your child would like to send an example of how they have shown a FEHS Core Value already please ask them to email me on r.arnold@fehs.set.education

Hopefully the PowerPoint and handout give you the first pieces of key information that you need. Additional forms will be sent out this week and further information will be shared as per the timeline.

Many thanks for choosing our school and I look forward to getting to know you all during your time at Framingham Earl High School.

Stay safe and well,

Mrs Becky Arnold
Headteacher
